MEET THE STAFF
Leah Larson, Kristan Steffen, Monte Blome, Erika Anderson, Levi Conry, Stacy Vancas, Katie Reede
Erika Anderson
Erika Anderson is the daughter of Audey and Nina Anderson. She is currently a junior at Belle Fourche High School. Erika has a ranch background and enjoys competing in rodeo. She is presently serving as the Treasurer of the High School Rodeo Club. After high school, Erika plans to attend college to pursue a career in Business Management.
Monte Blome.
Monte Blome is the son of Lowell and Pam Blome. He is currently a senior at Belle Fourche High School. His interests are competing on the high school golf team and playing his tuba. He plans to enlist in the military to pursue a career in a military band.
Levi Conry
Levi Conry is the son of Cliff and Cheyenne Conry. He lives on a ranch and enjoys working with horses and cattle. Throughout the year Levi enjoys traveling to rodeos to compete against his friends. Levi is currently a junior at Belle Fourche High School and plans to attend college to get an education and further his career in rodeo.
Leah Larson
Leah Larson is the daughter of Bill Larson. She is curently a senior at Belle Fourche High School. She is active in the high school rodeo club. She is planning to go to college after graduating, but is unsure about what she is planning to pursue as a career.
Katie Reede
Katie Reede is the daughter of Darian and Michelle Reede. She is curently a junior at Belle Fourche High School. At the time of publication, Katie is unsure of what she would like to pursue after graduation.
Kristan Steffen
Kristan Steffen is the daughter of Todd Steffen and Mary Kay Thomas, she has one younger sister. She is a junior at Belle Fourche High School and has lived here since she was in the second grade. Kristan plans on attending college after graduating from high school.
Stacy Vancas
Stacy Vancas is the daughter of John and Joette Vancas. She has one older sister and one older brother. She is a senior at Belle Fourche High School and has lived here all her life. Stacy plans to work before continuing her education.
AFTERWORD
We would like to thank the members of the Belle Fourche area for graciously agreeing to be interviewed, giving their time, sharing their memories, and working with our students. This passing on of stories is much more than a class project. It is a passing of the torch of community. This sense of community perserves our heritage.
